VNASC is dedicated to optimizing the health and well-being of the people in our region.” That means everyone regardless of their ability to pay. At VNASC we foster a spirit of giving by making health care solutions a reality for our community. 

Please help us with our mission; there are many ways to give.

Annual Appeal – The Annual Fund is crucial in keeping VNASC strong and allows us to continue the many programs we provide to the people in southeastern Connecticut. Each year we reach out to our community and ask for their support. We are grateful for all donations received ~ large or small. 

Memorial Gifts – Are a fitting way to remember a loved one, and at the same time help VNASC. Some prefer to make donations to charities instead of sending gifts or flowers. Acknowledgements are sent to the donors and to the family if appropriate. 

Matching Gifts – Your employer may match your donation, many dollar for dollar allowing you to double the impact of your contribution. Ask your employer if they have a matching gift program. 

Bequests – Most people know how important it is to have a will. And once you have provided for the people you love, we hope you will consider a bequest to VNASC. This way of giving allows you to retain use of your funds during your lifetime; then, at a time when you no longer need those dollars, you can generously benefit a charity. Additionally, you will be able to reduce your estate taxes. Bequests can be a dollar amount or a percentage of your estate. Bequests of any size can help insure that VNASC will be here – serving our community for generations to come. Please let us know when you have added us to your will. 

Gifts of Appreciated Stocks, Bonds and Mutual Funds – When you donate these gifts you receive a federal income-tax deduction, you avoid long-term capital-gain tax and you support VNASC programs! These tax savings mean that you can give more to VNASC with a gift of appreciated securities instead of cash, while the cost to you remains the same. 

Your tax-deductible contributions will go to work immediately to help some of the most medically fragile members of our community. VNASC is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization.
