Our network of registered nurses, physical, occupational and speech therapists, social workers and health aides fan out each day to provide the best quality care available. Our behind-the-scenes team of administrators works diligently to help people find the programs and services they need. As it turns out, doing what’s best for the individual turns out to be what’s best for our community as well.
As health care continues to change, Visiting Nurse Association of Southeastern Connecticut and our network of care will continue to be proactive, and to look for better ways to do what we do, which is caring for you.
The Visiting Nurse Association of Southeastern Connecticut is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to optimizing the health and well-being of the people in our region. Since 1909, VNASC and its predecessor organizations have been caring for everyone from the elderly who wish to remain in their homes for as long as they can and patients recovering from surgery or illness, to new mothers, schoolchildren, and the homeless. We use the most current medical advances and technologies in home healthcare, and strengthen community resources for everyone. VNASC is made up of three major components, each with its own set of goals and objectives, healthcare professionals, technologies and challenges: home care, school nursing and community wellness.
The Visiting Nurse Association of Southeastern Connecticut is licensed by the Connecticut State Department of Public Health.
