Vaccines for children and adults are a way to maintain overall wellness and prevent certain vaccine preventable diseases. You are encouraged to keep current on a vaccine program and keep a record of those vaccines received. VNASC can provide you with a record card at our monthly clinics.
VNASC’s immunization program provides vaccines through the Connecticut Vaccines For Children (VFC) program. Immunization clinics are held monthly for residents of southeastern Connecticut. A nominal administration fee is charged and the vaccines are free for qualified children. All necessary childhood vaccines are available.
An important part of the VNASC Immunization program is the annual flu clinics. Influenza vaccines are available in many sites throughout the region. Clinics begin each fall when the vaccine arrives and extends until the vaccine is gone. VNASC provides clinics in many locations through cooperation with municipal government, commercial business and private employers.
See the Clinics section for the location and schedules of all VNASC clinics.
