Nightingale Awards Set for May 10th

The 2012 Nightingale Awards will be held on Thursday, May 10, at the Mystic Marriott. Healthcare organizations can nominate Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Advanced Practice Registered Nurses and Nurse Practitioners if they are involved in clinical practice, leadership, scholarship and/or education. Nominees must have achieved one or more of the following:
• Made a significant impact on patient care and/or the nursing profession;
• Gone “beyond the call” in a clearly illustrated scenario;
• Demonstrated excellence above what is normally expected;
• Shown commitment to the community served in a way that is significantly above the norm; or
• Achieved a life-long legacy in a particular arena.

This will be the tenth year that VNASC has hosted this event, so we are hope to make it the best one yet.
